Sasse’s Italian Restaurant to Host Benefit Dinner for ARC/The Bob Rauschenberg Center for Living
Fort Myers, Florida – November 3, 2011 – Sasse’s Italian Restaurant, 3651 Evans Avenue, Fort Myers, will host a dinner fundraiser event Thursday December 8, 2011, from 6:30 – 8:30 PM to benefit ARC/The Bob Rauschenberg Center for Living and Gan Fradin, a food and clothing bank operated by the center.
Sasse’s Italian Restaurant, owned by Jerry and Barbara Snyderman, will offer guests an exciting prix fixe menu in an effort to raise money for Gan Fradin. Chef John Innarelli will feature a hand-crafted menu and guests may choose from beef, chicken, fish, or pasta entrees. Tickets are $60.00 per person or $100 per couple which includes wine pairings. ARC/The Bob Rauschenberg Center for Living, 3677 Central Avenue, Suite C, Fort Myers, is a not-for-profit 501c(3) HIV/AIDS treatment center. Dr. Bob Schwartz is the CEO and acting physician. The Center is named in honor of the late, internationally renowned artist Robert (Bob) Rauschenberg. Rauschenberg is widely respected for his long history of supporting HIV/AIDS causes including his patronage of AmFAR, the American Foundation for AIDS Research.
In addition to providing medical treatment without regard for a patient’s ability to pay, the center operates Gan Fradin, a food and clothing bank, which served over 600 individuals last month. ARC/The Bob Rauschenberg Center for Living and Gan Fradin partners with organizations such as the Harry Chapin Food Bank and Wake Up, America to provide fresh food, canned goods, and bread to both patients and the community.
